Repadding Rolls
Prior to installing new pads and covers on the ironer, the chests must be cleaned throughly. Over a period of time, dirt
is collected on the chests under the roll. This is usually a thin layer of soil which is difficult to see, but can be
detected by feeling when the chest is cool. It is important to maintain clean chests for proper linen travel under the rolls.
